Getting started

There are only two things to finish before class. They take about 20 minutes.

  1. Sign up: GitHub, Cursor and APIFrame accounts, including paying for the Cursor Pro+ and APIFrame Basic subscriptions.
  2. Install: Cursor, Git and Node.js. Run each one once after installing.

When you want to try things on your own at home after class, read these two in order.

  1. Reopen: find your forked folder and start the practice web app.
  2. One full round: what to do once it is running. From scene to result in 10 minutes.

What to bring

  • Your own laptop and charger
  • A mouse (three buttons with a scroll wheel)
  • A credit or debit card in your own name that works for overseas payments. You pay for the subscriptions yourself before class. Submit the receipts (invoices) and the foundation reimburses the actual cost. Receipts in someone else's name cannot be reimbursed.
