Install

Cursor

Download the installer for your operating system from cursor.com/download↗ and install it. You are done when it opens to a login screen.

Git

• Windows: download and run the installer from git-scm.com/download/win↗. Leave every option at its default and click Next.
• Mac: open Terminal and type the line below. When a window appears, click Install.

xcode-select --install

Node.js

Download the LTS version from nodejs.org↗ and install it. Again, keep the defaults.

Check

Open Cursor, open the terminal with Ctrl/⌘+` and run the following. If all three print a version number, you are done.

node --version
npm --version
