  • Before class, you pay for the Cursor and APIFrame subscriptions yourself with this card. Always use a card in your own name and pay in US dollars (USD) (paying in KRW adds a fee). Keep two proofs: the invoice and the card receipt. Reimbursement is based on the amount on the card receipt, and the foundation will announce the payment date later.

02 · On the day

On the day

The lecture walks through the tools once, and then everyone makes their own work in the practice time. Keep the materials open on one side of the screen, and whoever finishes first teaches the person next to them.

Timeline

Today's schedule

The class slides are at /slide. The password is in the group chat.

  1. 14:00

    About the program director5 min

Who made this program, and why.

  2. 14:05

    About the class15 min

The end point is the exhibition on Dec 19, and we plan backward from there. How the program runs, pairs, milestones.

  3. 14:20

    Administration15 min

We go through the foundation's orientation material (PDF) together on screen. The file is posted to the group chat after class.

Passport copies are collected on site.

  4. 14:35

    Participant introductions · 119 seconds40 min

In APE TALK's 119-second format. Exactly 119 seconds per person, and you stop when the timer goes off. Just three things: one piece of work you are doing now, one line on what you want to make here, and one thing you can offer plus one thing you need right now.

The last item decides the pairs: who helps whom in the afternoon practice.

  5. 15:15

    Lecture: Cursor · GitHub · APIFrame50 min

A single walk-through of how to use the three tools, from the front. Includes the recent shift from people who write code to people who decide and review.

You don't need to follow along. In the practice time you redo it at your own pace with the wiki.

  6. 16:05

    Break10 min

    Coffee.

  7. 16:15

Practice: Cursor + APIFrame creative pipeline85 min

Work through today's steps below at your own pace, with the materials open. The minimum goal is one GitHub push and one APIFrame image.

Two show-of-hands check-ins on "where are you now", at 16:50 and 17:20.

  8. 17:40

    Wrap-up20 min

One minute each on what worked and what didn't, checking pushes, Milestone 1 announcement, and a note on the next session.

Stuck?

If you get stuck

Ask the person next to you, then post a screenshot to the group chat, then raise your hand. Leave error messages on screen; don't clear them.

  • When you finish a step, go sit with someone who hasn't got there yet and look at it together. Start with the people who named a "need" in their introduction. Don't do it for them; guide them in words while looking at their screen.
  • The organizer walks around and only watches. Raise your hand and they will come. If three people are stuck in the same place at a check-in (16:50 · 17:20), it gets explained once from the front.

If you get stuck before class, post in the group chat with a screenshot. On the day, we can help in the classroom from 13:30. Contact · Joonhyung Bae (planning and operations)
