Gyu Heo works in order to stay alive, holding one life that is fragile yet tenacious and passing through the beauty and joy that arise within its finitude. Moving across many media, from ink painting and drawing to sculpture, photography, video, games and interactive art, Heo explores the air and relations that arise between image, material and space.

At Open Circuit

Since August 2026, Gyu Heo has been making a technology-based work at Open Circuit Busan. The work will premiere at the showcase at Sasang Indie Station on December 19, and documentation will be posted here after the exhibition.
